Founder of Eye-yoob Music, co-founder and President of Musique Pour La Paix.
Lebanese-Brazilian entrepreneur, artist, /Singer-Songwriter and a bandleader of Eye-yoob & Les Américains, based in Denver, Colorado. Trying to blend between R&B/Soul, Pop, Rai & Levant music genre, Eye-yoob is creating her own unique genre which others see as something new and different.
Mona Eye-yoob, known as “Eye-yoob”, was born and raised in Lebanon(July 23, 1991). She is a dual citizen of Brazil and Lebanon. She started her music career in August of 2018 and released her first song, “Gone Away” in October of 2018. Eye-yoob style is a combination of R&B/Soul, French Pop, Rai and North African Music. She tries to blend these types in her own style. Eye-yoob finds music as meditation to the soul no matter which language you speak, music touches humans soul in a way or another. One could never know the healing power of arts and music unless they experience it profoundly. Mona immigrated to the United States in the summer of 2017. Her first two years in the U.S were extremely rough for a 26 years old woman who crossed oceans and seas. At that time, creating music and getting invloved in the music scene was the only escape to survive and maintain a fairly stable mental health state. In fall of 2019, Eye-yoob started a band and named it Eye-yoob & the band which later on became Eye-yoob & Les Américains. Eye-yoob released her second single, “MANTRA”, on November of 2019 which was a solid base song in Eye-yoob’s Journey. "Monica in Quarantine" Single and Music video was released in June of 2020. The song was inspired by the major lockdown the world had experienced due to the catastrophic covid-19 pandemic.
In July of 2021 Mona Eye-yoob, released a new hit song "Be Beirut" dedicated to her home county Lebanon after the massive explosion that took place in Beirut in August 2020. Be Beirut made it to Lebanese national radio stations, streamed thousands of time on Spotify, and was covered by multiple Lebanese and local Colorado independent news sources including WestWord publication.
In September of 2022, Mona co-founded Musique Pour La Paix (MPLP) AKA Music for Peace. MPLP goal is to bring awareness to the general public the need for such organization to support and help talented refugees and immigrants from all over the world integrate faster in their society, have a sense of belonging to their community, and support their mental health. Currently, MPLP runs two projects, Bella Musica and Know Science, No Stigma.
